Very nice n enjoyable place to play slots. The staff always pleasant and helpful. Greene Turtle Restaurant pretty good. But the extented Cafe is rather expensive.
Nice little place, not to fancy. No smoking, but they do have a small smoking patio outside covered, with a few games and a little heat. I went for the truck parking.
I love this place. We are here a lot. One thing I am unhappy with is some of the staff make a point to tell guests that they work there for the tips and most guests don't understand that....they proceeded to tell me and my husband if we win what should be tipped. Very unprofessional. I have sank so much money into that place and I don't feel the need to tip anyone. We win so little as it is, I don't want to give someone who is just handing me my winnings a cut when I am the one that has to pay taxes on it even if I did win. Also, the restaurant has EXTREMELY slow service. The waitresses are quick to get your order, but even when there are only one or two customers the wait to get food is ridiculous. So, if you want a quick bite we used to go to the snack bar, but ever since the Green Turtle took over, the food has gone down hill so bad. Thank God we like to just o and throw a few dollars in the slots for fun!
Good distribution of winners the day i went. Its smallish, relaxed, well maintained, and feels safe. Employee awareness at the green turtle bar was lacking
The Hollywood Casino is definitely a fun place to spend a few hours at. The environment is smoke free, which is a nice change over many Casinos. Although the slot minimums are somewhat high for our tastes at 30 cents a pull, we were still able to play fun games for several hours on 20-40 bucks. Some times even coming out on par or slightly ahead 3-4 hours later. There are no high end prizes, they are not giving away cars, but it is a good place to go to have some fun without breaking the bank.
