FYI: This review is edited. I had to post my true feelings. After eating at another Chinese restaurant/take out establishment I realized how gross this place really is.
I eat here alot and I have liked everything that I have eaten here. I get a variety of foods, not the same thing every time. Great food, great service and great people that work here. I would recommend China Star to everyone. Once in a while they make a mistake on an order but I feel that it is ok. Nobody is perfect. I have seen people get angry over a mistake. I suppose it is very hard to be perfect.
Went here on the recommendation of a friend and it's not all that, the food is mediocre. It's actually quite terrible to be honest. Yes they give you large portions, but the food is disgusting. I'm a fan of orange chicken so that's what I order at every Chinese place. The chicken is small and tough tasting, then the sauce they give you looks like orange Jell-O. The next thing I usually order is chicken lo mein. The chicken was sad (very small pieces), the noddles were just okay. Do not go here. The food not only tastes fake but it also looks inedible, if I didn't know what it was I would've thought it was play food. Lee's Asian Bistro in Belcamp is sooooo much better!!!! I'm annoyed with myself for eating here more than once. Never again!

Shrimp toast was burnt and tasteless, shrimp egg rolls were tasteless, pork fried rice had an odd taste, orange chicken was just not good. Egg too young was the only thing out of our $45 order that tasted decent, but it was greasy as hell, and had more onions than eggs. Haven't been here for a long time and this made us remember why. We won't be back.
