Free, but limited parking, pretty much fills by second am train at 540. Seems safe, well lit. Station is older, but fairly well maintained with restrooms, heated waiting area open to the public. No staff, but there is ticket machine.
Trip to Washington DC with my son from this train station two years ago I ABSOLUTELY adored the time on the train with my son for his first time ever on a train and we had an awesome day in DC it was fun would LOVE to do it again sometime and go to all the places we didn't get to make all the stops in one day there's just soooooo much cool things and you learn alot as well loved the theatre auditorium it was cool.
Taking the MARC for about 5 years now to commute. Limited parking. Has restrooms (not always soap or toilet paper). Ticket machine inside, usually down the first days of the month. No staff. Poor rating because of the aforementioned annoyances and the breakdown of the trains (e.g. heat restrictions, signals not working). 3 stars because I don't have to pay the $8 toll to go to work.
I am here each morning Monday through Friday. Once and awhile the ticket machine does not work, but that is rare. If that happens you can purchase a ticket from the conductor with cash. Bathrooms are available and there is a cool train diarama of perryville.
